About Us

 The mission of the Inland Northwest Golf Foundation is to support and help grow the game of golf in the Inland Northwest. We do that in a number of different ways. The Inland Northwest Golf Foundation also champions the First Tee program in local schools. A portion of the funds raised through our golf marathon are used to help schools get enrolled and involved in the First Tee School program that helps P.E. teachers introduce kids to the game of golf while also teaching them life skills and core values like honesty, integrity, sportsmanship, and perseverance. One of our other goals is to support junior golfers through financial grants that they can apply for to help them with some of the expenses that arise in their development and progression in the game. We want to help junior golfers learn and grow in the great game that provides so many opportunities in life. Our future plans include supporting golf tournaments in the Inland Northwest and finding other ways to help the golf community grow and enjoy the game more in our area.

 The parallels between golf and life make it so educational and we want to see more kids grow into the game of golf and life. However, the pursuit of golf can be very expensive and even families with means sometimes have to make difficult decisions about how to fund the growth of juniors in the game. The Inland Northwest Golf Foundation wants to help cover some of the gaps for juniors and families as they grow now, and in the years to come. Funding from this event will be used to create assistance funds that junior golfers can apply for to help them achieve greater excellence in the game. Applying and receiving support is a great way for kids to learn responsibility and grow in their communication and networking skills. Champion for the First Tee School Program

Since 2004, First Tee has been integrating the First Tee School Program into PE classes across the country. First Tee equips educators at elementary and middle schools with our curriculum built around the game of golf, while positively impacting kids through both the game and its inherent ability to improve social-emotional learning (SEL) skills. The Inland Northwest Golf Foundation is a champion for the First Tee School Program and one our goals is to help get new schools enrolled in this program so that more kids can be introduced to the game of golf. Along with that the Golf Foundation will partner with schools and golf courses to help get more kids involved in the excellent junior golf programs at our local golf courses.

Inland Northwest Golf Foundation - Golf Marathon

54 Holes in one day! The Inland Northwest Golf Foundation Golf Marathon brings golfers together to raise money to support Junior Golfers while have a great time playing 54 in one day. As the largest fundraiser for the Inland Northwest Golf Foundation funds from the marathon go towards helping to fund the INW Golf Foundation Grant Program, as well as helping to get more schools involved in the First Tee School Program. 

Inland Northwest Golfers Society

It was Arnold Palmer who said…”Show the world that you are a GOLFER, and not just someone who plays golf.” A golfer is someone who loves the game, appreciates the history and traditions of the game, loves the competition of the game, has an appreciation for golf course architecture, and embraces the diversity and different experiences and perspectives that golfers bring to the game. 

The Inland Northwest Golfer’s Society was established to bring together a group of GOLFERS who call the Inland Northwest their home. We believe that our area is one of the greatest areas of the country for golf. From the great public access courses, to the really cool private clubs of the area we embrace the vibe of golf in our area and exist to share that with each other and to partner with other societies from around the world. Sponsored by the Inland Northwest Golf Foundation we exist to grow the game and celebrate the game in a number of different ways. From daily play, to golf buddy trips we celebrate the game and competition on an annual basis. All while helping to perpetuate the game through our charitable work with the First Tee program and junior golfers.
